Scheduling Judgment, not a Software tutorial

Plan Control Pro is a project controls practice built around one job: keep the critical path honest, from the first baseline to the last punch list item. Here's who we are and how we work.

Who we are

Plan Control Pro is a project controls consultancy for construction and EPC teams — built and run by people who have sequenced real work, defended real schedules, and answered for real delays, not by a software vendor teaching button-clicks.

Most Primavera "experts" you'll find online are resellers or course platforms. We built this practice around the opposite premise: Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project are instruments. The value is in the judgment behind them — how to sequence work correctly, where to protect float, how to catch a logic error before it costs a month, and how to defend a schedule when a client or general contractor pushes back.

That's the standard we hold every baseline, every progress update, and every forensic review to.

WHY PLAN CONTROL PRO?

Not your typical scheduling consultant

Every firm claims expertise. These are three things that actually differentiate how we work.

Every delay allocation and every schedule conclusion is traceable to a contemporaneous document. We don't speculate, and we don't produce analysis that can't withstand scrutiny.

Every bar we draw represents real, sequenced work — not a theoretical logic chain generated by someone who has never coordinated a trade on site

Anyone can click through P6's menus. We're brought in for the decisions the software can't make for you: sequencing logic, float ownership, and recovery strategy.

Our values

What guides every schedule we touch

Precision

We hold schedule logic to the same standard as the structures it plans for — no shortcuts in the network diagram.

Field Judgment

Every recommendation is grounded in how work actually gets built, not just how it's modeled.

Accountability

If we build it, we stand behind it — in a progress meeting, in a claim, or under cross-examination.

Transparency

Clear Assumptions, visible logic, and documented sources. No black-box schedules.

How we work

From first baseline to last punch list

A consistent process, applied whether we're building a schedule from zero or recovering one that's already slipped.

Understand the work

We start with drawings, specs, and the actual means and methods your team plans to use — not a generic template.

Build the logic

A CPM baseline in Primavera P6 or MS Project, sequenced the way the work will really happen, with float assigned deliberately — not left to the software's defaults.

Track and defend

Progress updates, look-aheads, and performance reporting that keep the schedule honest as conditions change on site.

Recover or resolve

When a project slips or a dispute emerges, we quantify what happened — delay analysis, TIAs, and claims support built on the documented record

- WHERE WE WORK

We support EPC and construction teams on-site and remotely, wherever the schedule needs defending. Consulting, training, and on-job planner support are all available on the same terms — in person or over a screen share.
